Gold Prices Reach New Highs in Pakistan

Gold prices continue to rise, both globally and locally. On Monday, the price of gold in the international market increased by $12 per ounce, reaching $2,948.
In Pakistan, the price of gold also went up. The cost of one tola (a common measurement for gold in South Asia) increased by Rs1,500, making the new price Rs309,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,286, reaching Rs265,346.
This price hike is due to global economic factors like inflation and changes in currency values. Many investors are buying gold because it is considered a safe investment during uncertain times.
Earlier, gold prices had dropped for a short period but have now recovered, hitting new highs. The international price of gold also increased by $6, reaching $2,936 per ounce.
